Hi, I’m Katie, Founder of KATIE GALE BRIDAL and The Unconventional Collective. 

I’m an elder emo with 8 years experience as a hair and makeup artist working on hundreds of clients nationally. I have 20 tattoos and counting plus the hearing of someone 3 times my age (thanks to my inability to listen to music at a normal volume) and I am a massive advocate for the alternative wedding scene!

Your wedding hair and makeup should be as one-of-a-kind as your love story, so that’s where we come in. The Unconventional Collective and I are here to help you express your unique personality through your hair and makeup. Whether you’ve been dreaming of a vintage-inspired victory roll with a pop of red lipstick or your Pinterest board is a wall of flower crowns and Doc Martens, we’ll work together to bring your entire vision to life. All created with modern editorial techniques – the ones that make you look good even on a 4K TV! – but with that vintage, alternative vibe. And I promise it’ll fit exactly with the rest of your day.
