Michael Christie -Your Wedding Toastmaster

I am a professional Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies and my ethos is completely focused on far surpassing your expectations, ensuring your wedding runs seamlessly.

As a Registrar for Surrey County Council and a trained voice artist, I will bring a vibrant and dynamic approach to your day.

A Toastmaster for over 20 years I am a proud member of “The Executive Guild of Toastmasters and Town Criers” and received my fellowship in 2014.

During my career, I have had the great honour and privilege of working at some of  the UK’s most prestigious venues such as Harbour Hotel Southampton, Millbridge Court, The Cafe Royal, Nonsuch Mansion, The Elvetham Hotel, Fulham Palace, Mandarina Oriental Hotel, The Oscar Wild Bar, Intercontinental Hotel, Sheraton Grand Hotel and Ensham Hall Hotel to name but a few.

I pride myself on the level and quality of service I offer to my happy couples, which starts at our first meeting to discuss and plan your detailed requirements. I am available to offer advice and guidance to make the buildup to your wedding a positive and memorable.

I have many functions during your big day, some of which includes

• Meet and greet your guests as they arrive
• Assisting with the ceremony, photos and drinks reception
• Announcements including the grand arrival of the happy couple into the wedding breakfast
• Introducing the speeches and toasts
• The ceremonial cutting of the wedding cake
• Welcoming you onto the floor for your first dance as a married couple
• Coordinating your day throughout and being the main point of contact for yourselves and the venue allowing you to sit back and enjoy the celebrations

I offer a bespoke service to incorporate your own requests to make your day full of wonderful, lasting memories.

From that first chat to your first dance, I will ensure that your special day will be remembered for all the right reasons. This is why engaging me as your Toastmaster completes your day perfectly.
